Kung Fu at the USA Shaolin Temple

In the spring of 2015 I was granted permission by Shifu Shi Yan Ming to sit in on the Kung Fu sessions at the USA Shaolin Temple in NYC, in order to draw the space and the students as part of my graduate studies in the Illustration as Visual Essay MFA at The School of Visual Arts.  The result is a 6″ x 8.25″ book of on-location drawings done in Sumi ink on watercolor paper, with digital color added after the fact.
